Job Title: SEND Tutor / Teacher
Job Summary
A role rooted in purpose: Join a child‑centred company committed to reimagining support for vulnerable young people. Provide flexible, trauma‑informed tutoring and mentoring to pupils and students from KS1 to KS5, referred by local authorities and schools.
Responsibilities
* CPD and employee mentoring: TES CPD suite and professional mentor access
* SEND Support Team: Provide teamwork support to keep a support network around you and the child
* Community and Company Events: Participate in knowledge sharing and resource events
* Referral Programme: Receive rewards for successful tutor referrals
* Plan lessons, deliver them, and report on them, providing regular feedback on student progress
* Work with a diverse range of SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and PMLD needs to transform the lives of young people
Qualifications & Experience
* 2+ years teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma‑informed way
* Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
* Enhanced DBS (facilitated if needed) and 2+ professional references
* Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment
* Must be based in the UK with the right to work
Location & Compensation
Mexborough, South Yorkshire – £28 to £35 per hour, contract position
