About The Role Do you want to be at the forefront of one of the world’s most ambitious sustainability initiatives? As a result, alongside several consortium partners; Balfour Beatty have been selected by BP (British Petroleum) to construct a first-of-a-kind fully integrated gas-fired power station with carbon capture and storage which is a key driving force behind plans to make Teesside the UK’s first decarbonised industrial cluster. Balfour Beatty is seeking a Project Coordinator to contribute to the Net Zero Teesside project based at our new site in Redcar and Cleveland. What you'll be doing We are looking for a proactive and driven personnel who has a keen eye for detail, customer service and continuous improvement. Provide day-to-day administrative support for NZT ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard. Lead coordination of onboarding activity across the project. This includes keeping track of the new starters and transfers onto the project and updating the people tracker with accurate information. Send out weekly tracker to manager showing the status of personal approval forms, collating CVs and SQEPs. Complete Personal Approval Forms for employees as part of onboarding. Chasing managers for missing information/document for a new starter HR Process Compliance – working collaboratively with out HR Shared Service and Health & Safety Teams to ensure all employee are compliant with training completions. Support the development of HR process on NZT Undertake ad-hoc administration linked to the employee lifecycle – starters/leavers/redeployment etc. Co-ordinate Early Career Apprenticeship selection interviews and events as part of the yearly hiring process. There may be an occasional need to work out of hours such as attending recruitment events. Support other and ad-hoc projects as required.
