Salary: £50,000 - 70,000 per year Requirements: Extensive experience in VM Ware Platforms and Infrastructure Solutions, Networking Environments & Firewall Knowledge Extensive expertise in leading infrastructure solution, design and process improvement activities within an IT operational environment resulting in improved efficiency, performance and financial benefit Excellent communication and influencing skills for dealing with internal management, teams, business partners, customers and external IT service providers Excellent technical authoring skills Responsibilities: Produce infrastructure design documentation based on a solution architecture to be implemented by a 3rd party supplier Coordinate accurate estimates for inclusion in end-to-end project costs and business cases Assist with estimates for the end-to-end IT costs of the client Lead projects involving technical resources and SMEs Contribute input to infrastructure solution frameworks and patterns while displaying awareness of external markets and suppliers Ensure clear root cause is established for incidents impacting the deliverables of the Infrastructure CoE and address these issues Collaborate with 3rd party supplier build teams, development, and test environment leads to ensure compliance with design across the project portfolio Involved with 3rd parties to design product integration to existing/new solutions Act as a technical escalation point and convene troubleshooting teams for rapid identification and resolution of infrastructure issues Provide design inputs to areas of expertise such as Mainframe, Networks, Wintel, Database or Connect:Direct Produce and assure design patterns and Infrastructure Roadmaps Serve as a technical escalation point for production services and during the build phase of new production services Technologies: Firewall UX UI Design More: We are a leading consultancy partnering with a well-established UK financial services organisation that is undergoing significant digital and operational transformation.
