Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool room leader to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curricula that promote the cognitive, social, and emotional development of preschool-aged children.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
* Foster children's literacy education through engaging activities that promote reading and writing skills.
* Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies to support child welfare.
* Provide individualized support for children with special needs, utilizing early intervention techniques as necessary.
* Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress and address any concerns regarding their child's development.
* Conduct assessments and standardized testing to evaluate student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
* Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
Requirements
* Level 3 in Early years
* Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting.
* Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies.
* Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and tutoring methods.
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Experience with Montessori methods or teaching physical education is a plus.
* Ability to create engaging learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles.

Job Type: Part-time
