We are seeking an IT Service Technician (Intern) to work out of the London office. This position of an IT Intern is to support the ICT team in various technological initiatives while gaining practical experience in the field of Information and Communication Technology. The IT Intern will assist in maintaining and troubleshooting hardware and software, providing technical support to staff, and contributing to ongoing ICT projects. This role is designed to offer hands-on experience in systems administration, network management, and technical support, enabling the intern to develop skills essentials for a successful career in ICT.
The successful candidate will take on the following responsibilities:
* Provide technical support to end-users by resolving desktop and production software, hardware, and network issues.
* Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintain the functionality of the company's applications, systems, and hardware.
* Help with data backups, system restores, and general maintenance of IT infrastructure.
* Troubleshoot and resolve basic IT issues under the guidance of the IT Manager.
* Participate in IT-related operational tasks to support the business.
* Assist with Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
* Handle any reasonable requests within the scope of your competencies.
* Provide cover for the IT Manager during leave or periods of high activity
* Keep professional and personal skills required by the post up to date.
* Keep abreast of key developments in the market within the range of disciplines responsible for.
* Comply with company policies and procedures.

* Experience supporting Windows and Mac OS computers
* Experience providing mobile device support.
* Experience of networking support with TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, Wifi.
* Back office support with printers, email and the MS Office Suite
* Familiarity with ITSM and ITIL processes
* Knowledge of Active Directory / LDAP
* Good communication skills.
* A positive, proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and develop in the ICT field.
* Attention to detail and ability to work independently
