We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Cleaner to Join our Barnsley Schools Account at Horizon Community College, Dodworth Road, Barnsley S70 6PD
The salary is £12.82 per hour
The hours of work will be: Monday - Thursday 6:00-8:30am & Fri 6:00-8:00am - 12 hours per week.
Join our vibrant, inclusive community in Barnsley Schools working on delivering critical services for schools that make a real positive impact across the UK. Amey provides facilities and estate management services to the Barnsley Schools Private Finance Initiative across 11 schools, ensuring high-quality, safe, clean, and compliant learning environments for teachers and students. They work in partnership with clients and end-users to deliver 24/7 services to the highest standard with minimal disruption to the schools' daily operations.
What You Will Do
* Providing a cleaning service that delivers to our contractual requirements
* Controlling stock levels and ordering consumables
* Operating machinery safely and in line with the guidelines and training provided
* Ensuring a high-quality service is provided to the building users at all times
* This role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate.
* Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract
