Paid Social Account Manager – UK based (right to work in UK required). Reports to the Paid Social Account Director.


Role Summary

Oversee day‑to‑day operations of busy client accounts, develop and execute paid social media plans, and optimise performance across key social platforms within the WPP Open ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities

* Campaign Management:
o Develop comprehensive paid social media plans aligned with client objectives and KPIs.
o Setup, monitor and optimise paid social campaigns using advanced features (bid rules, 3rd‑party tools).
o Conduct regular QA, performance monitoring, pacing and troubleshooting.
o Produce detailed weekly, monthly and end‑of‑campaign performance reports with commentary.
o Identify trends and recommend on‑platform actions to capitalize or mitigate them.
* Client & Partner Management:
o Act as the primary social point of contact for clients, supporting calls and presentations.
o Stay abreast of media and technology developments, identify innovation opportunities and build relationships with key media partners (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.).
* People Development & Support:
o Work with line manager to manage and prioritise workloads for team members.
o Mentor and support team members, aid in training and development.
o Participate in recruitment, attending interviews and acting as a team ambassador.
* Operational Excellence:
o Develop and implement testing and learning agendas with line manager.
o Ensure accurate and timely fulfilment of mandatory agency finance processes.
o Collaborate with planning teams and other channel specialists to complement the wider marketing mix.


Skills And Experience

* Proven experience in digital marketing or agency-based role with strong client stakeholder management.
* Extensive experience setting up and optimising paid social campaigns on Meta, TikTok, Pinterest; Meta Blueprint certification a plus.
* Planning of large‑scale paid social campaigns across brand and direct‑response objectives.
* Ability to compile detailed end‑of‑campaign reports and client review presentations.
* Strong relationship‑building and client presentation skills.
* Experience line‑managing or training others in paid social.
* Collaborative, friendly and with a can‑do attitude.
