We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing practice. This is a client-facing role for someone who enjoys managing their own portfolio, building strong client relationships, and producing high-quality accounts and tax work.
You will be confident working independently, handling client queries, managing deadlines, and ensuring your clients receive a professional, reliable service.
What you’ll be doing
Managing a portfolio of clients and acting as a key point of contact.
Responding to client queries promptly and professionally.
Preparing and reviewing accounts and tax work.
Delegating work where appropriate and helping ensure deadlines are met.
Building strong client relationships and delivering an excellent client experience.
Keeping up to date with relevant legislation and industry developments.
Supporting junior team members where needed.
Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
What we’re looking for
ACCA, ACA or AAT Level 4 qualified.
At least 5 years’ experience working in an accountancy practice.
Strong experience in preparing and reviewing accounts and tax work.
Confident in dealing with client queries independently.
Organised, reliable and proactive.
Committed to producing accurate, high-quality work.
Able to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
