We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on and motivated General Manager to lead a new club in Woodbury opening Autumn 2025. This is a chance to run a business for the owner, and if you’ve got our backs, we’ve got yours! As General Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the club's operations, sales, member experience, and team development. You’ll create a welcoming culture where everyone feels at home and can achieve their fitness goals whilst ensuring operationally, the club maintains health and safety standards and audit compliance and looks great! Key Responsibilities: Run the day-to-day operations of the club, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and passing head office audits. Lead your team to create a positive, welcoming culture where members are motivated to achieve their goals. Develop and implement marketing strategies (social media, local events, corporate partnerships) to bring in new members and retain them. Drive sales, setting clear goals and a performance-driven environment. Build strong relationships with local businesses and corporate partners to drive membership growth and community engagement. Monitor and adapt to local competition, keeping your club ahead of the curve. Desired Attributes: Business-owner mentality – You’ll treat this club like it’s your own, ensuring every decision drives the business forward maintaining a calm head in all situations. Proven track record – Ideally, you’re an experienced GM or rock star AGM who has successfully worked with owners/shareholders and knows what it takes to run a successful fitness business. Sales-driven & customer-focused – You love inspiring your team to hit targets and deliver a world-class experience for every member. Proactive – You thrive in a fast-paced environment and take initiative, always looking for ways to improve the business. Tech-savvy & creative – You’re comfortable with social media, digital campaigns, and using IT to drive leads and sales.
