IT Network & Telecommunications Administrator
Salary: £36,000 - £48,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm (40 hour week)

Purpose of the Role
Responsible for managing technology efficiently through tools and scripting. Organizes, leads, and coordinates with other IT departments to ensure system components are well-managed.
* Designs and develops complex, integrated solutions to meet business needs or improve Garmin’s network and telecommunications systems
* Performs cost analyses and vendor comparisons for projects to ensure cost-effectiveness
* Develops technical expertise on current and emerging network & telecommunications technologies
* Communicates effectively about system operations and changes
* Ensures compliance with SOX, PCI, and other regulatory requirements
* Monitors capacity, redundancy, and health of network & telecommunications systems
* Ensures security requirements are met or exceeded
* Follows standards and procedures proficiently
* Communicates effectively in a team or departmental setting
* Aligns with Garmin’s Mission Statement and Quality Policy
* Mentors less experienced IT Administrators
* Provides reliable solutions through sound problem-solving and root cause analysis
* Performs minor system upgrades and recommends improvements
* Coordinates system changes and participates in planning
* Leads meetings with IT users
* Adapts well to change and welcomes feedback
* Monitors security access levels
Education & Experience
* Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or 2 years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination
* Ability to solve complex technical problems independently
* Experience in implementing technology solutions successfully
* Strong communication skills in a small team environment
* Knowledge of IT Infrastructure, including Telephony: Avaya, SIP, Microsoft Teams Voice
