EQUANS are recruiting for a Senior Planner to be based in Oldham. This is a 12 month FTC full-time role working 37 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
General Overview
The role of the senior planner is to directly manage the planning team to ensure the scheduling and planning the work, ensuring the operatives / engineers are fully utilised, jobs are closed in a timely manner and appointments are booked in for any works not completed at first visit are completed in an efficient manner.
Key Accountabilities
To take ownership and lead on the various tasks carried out by the planners ensuring they are carried out to a high standard, including but not limited to:
1. Scheduling appointments through Equans IT system currently Castleton Maintain
2. Ensuring the operative / engineer is fully utilized throughout the day
3. Arranging follow on appointments for any jobs not completed on first visit.
4. Closing jobs in the system complete or cancelled as the day unfolds.
5. Communication with operatives / Engineers on site
6. Written and verbal communication with MCC / Northwards
7. Dealing with the repairs chase mailbox
8. Customer Satisfaction surveys
9. Critical numbers report closed out daily
10. Administration task are completed in a timely manor
11. Carrying out regular reviews and PDRs
12. Ownership of operational processes eg Scaffold register, training
Assist with the adherence to the Company quality standards including:
13. Compliance with Equans procedures and processes
14. Maintain and care for all Equans property
15. To wear appropriate clothing / uniform
16. To ensure areas of work areas left clean and tidy at the end of the day
17. Liaison with all stakeholders
18. Material co-ordination
19. Ensure accurate / timely completion of any relevant documentation
20. To oversee/assist in the training of new starters as required
21. Any other reasonable management request
