Overview
South Staffordshire College is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Early Years Practitioner to support, teach, and assess apprentices working towards Level 3 Early Years Educator and L5 Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship Standards.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful Early Years team. The role involves delivering teaching across Tamworth and Cannock campuses, conducting workplace reviews and observations, and preparing apprentices for End Point Assessment.
Responsibilities
* Deliver teaching across Tamworth and Cannock campuses
* Conduct workplace reviews and observations
* Prepare apprentices for End Point Assessment
Qualifications and experience
* Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or DTTLS) and an assessor qualification (A1 or equivalent), with experience teaching at Level 3
* Experience assessing in the workplace is desirable
* Full driving licence and willingness to travel
* Familiarity with Smart Assessor is an advantage; training can be provided

The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check, including barred list information, as this post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Salary: £32,753.97 to £42,917.84 per annum / Full Time Equivalent • £19,652.38 - £25,750.70 per annum / pro rata
