Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Cable Assembler on behalf of our client based within a manufacturing environment. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity offering full on-the-job training and the chance to join a busy production team. Roles & Responsibilities * Following written work orders and detailed work instructions * Measuring, cutting, stripping, wrapping and soldering cables * Using a variety of hand tools safely and effectively * Performing electrical insulation and continuity testing * Carrying out visual inspections for cuts, abrasions, dents, scratches, cleanliness and surface finish * Working to daily production demands as set by the department supervisor * Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and housekeeping within the work area * Writing concessions and marking up work orders when required * Following all health & safety procedures including the use of PPE such as gloves, respirators, suits, safety footwear and local extraction systems * Assisting across multiple stages of the assembly process as required Experience, Skills & Qualifications * Previous manufacturing or assembly experience desirable * Good level of physical fitness with the ability to carry out some heavy lifting * Good eyesight and attention to detail * Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures accurately * Willingness to learn multiple production...
