Salary:£38,000Hours:MondayFriday DaysShift Pattern:8:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday with a 2:30pm Finish on a friday.
----------------------------------------About the Role
We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join our expanding team at our Telford site. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a business that is investing heavily in its people, facilities, and technology.
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving production equipment for PCB manufacturing lines, including chemical etching, plating, and lamination systems. The role involves a mix of reactive and planned maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement activities.
----------------------------------------Key Responsibilities
* Respond quickly to plant breakdowns and ensure root causes are identified and resolved.
* Carry out planned and preventative maintenance autonomously and collaboratively.
* Communicate effectively with operations teams to minimize downtime.
* Maintain accurate records using the Frontline Maintenance Management system.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company SHE policies.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S and root cause analysis.
* Liaise with suppliers for spare parts and equipment as required.
----------------------------------------What Were Looking For
* Qualifications: Minimum City & Guilds Level 2 in Electrical Engineering (ONC preferred).
* Experience: At least 3 years as a Maintenance Engineer with electrical bias in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of safe systems of work (permit to work, risk assessments, method statements).
* Experience with planned/preventative maintenance techniques.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems (Frontline preferred).
* HSE training and understanding of relevant legislation.
