We are currently working in partnership with a Not-for-Profit based in Coventry, who are recruiting for a Finance Assistant - Accounts Receivable on a permanent contract. The position is due to start as soon as possible, dependent on notice and the salary available is £28,585 - £31,973.
This is a full time role and travel to the office will be required four days per week, with one day from home. Our client is also pleased to offer 35 days annual leave (including bank holidays).
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Accounts Receivable and be an adaptable and solution orientated person.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
1. Maintaining and processing Sales Ledger using Sage200 and completing monthly reconciliaitons
2. Processing daily and monthly sales invoices in various currencies
3. Ensuring correct VAT is applied to invoices, reviewing aged debtor reports and performing credit control duties
4. Completing monthly bank reconciliations of numerous bank accounts, including various currencies
5. Producing various schedules at period end and year end; processing and posting intercompany transactions
6. Processing and posting income from various outlets, reconciling on systems
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
7. Background in Accounts Receivable
8. Intermediate MS Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Formulas)
