You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio, working on the preparation of year-end statutory accounts for large groups or complex clients, and leading the delivery of ad-hoc financial reporting advisory services.

Description
The role involves leading client relationships, managing project performance, reviewing statutory financial statements, and providing technical guidance to junior staff. You will also handle advisory projects, analyze client data, and contribute to business development and team management activities.
* Manage a portfolio of clients, responding proactively to their needs and keeping them informed.
* Review statutory financial statements, consolidation models, and cash flows under various accounting frameworks such as FRS 102 and IFRS.
* Guide and review the work of junior team members, providing feedback and technical advice.
* Lead on ad hoc advisory projects, including acquisition accounting, group reconstructions, and standards transition impacts.
* Utilize business knowledge to analyze data, advise clients, and escalate issues appropriately.
* Ensure compliance with risk management and quality control procedures.
* Identify and develop new business opportunities, contributing to the firm's growth.
* Build internal and external relationships to enhance business prospects and team profile.
* Scope projects, prepare fee proposals, and manage project pipelines.
* Participate in management activities, resource planning, and team development.
Profile
* Qualified ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
* Previous management experience.
* Strong knowledge of UK and international reporting standards (UK GAAP, IFRS).
* Experience in preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, consolidations, and cash flows.
* Business development skills and technical research ability.
* Effective prioritization and planning skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with financial software like Caseware is a plus.
Job Offer
* Salary between £48,000-£51,500 DOE.
