Are you an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist looking to take the next step in your career? We are delighted to invite applications for a permanent Band 7 Advanced Practitioner Occupational Therapist working across two GP practices within Primary Care in Moray.
About the Role
As an Advanced Practitioner Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality, person‑centred Occupational Therapy within Primary Care. You will work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, offering scheduled and unscheduled assessment and intervention to adults with a broad spectrum of physical and mental health needs affecting their daily functioning.
You will empower patients to improve and manage their own health and wellbeing through proactive Occupational Therapy interventions, self‑management strategies, and tailored functional rehabilitation.

* Advanced post‑graduate training and relevant clinical experience
* A commitment to further professional development
* Confidence working at Advanced Practice level within a fast‑paced primary care setting
* Strong clinical reasoning, autonomy, and decision‑making skills
* The ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
You will receive clinical supervision from a Team Lead Advanced Practitioner Occupational Therapist and will also provide supervision to a support worker.
A key part of this role includes promoting awareness of Occupational Therapy within the Primary Care setting, supporting the development of the First Contact Practitioner model, and contributing to ongoing service evaluation and improvement.
