Schools in Wakefield and GSL Education are hiring a knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to deliver engaging and well-structured lessons.
As a Computer Science (CS) Teacher, you will support students in developing programming skills, computational thinking, and digital literacy. You will create a positive classroom environment where learners feel confident exploring coding, problem-solving, and modern technology.
Prime Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging computer science lessons.
* Teach programming, algorithms, and digital systems.
* Assess and monitor student progress regularly.
* Adapt teaching methods to meet different learning needs.
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching Computer Science in a school setting.
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
* Good communication and organisational abilities.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
