Brightwork are delighted to be supporting a key client in the appointment of a Management Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant or experienced finance professional to work in a fast-paced, operationally focused environment, providing high-quality financial analysis and reporting.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager and Finance Director, you will play a key role in supporting the business with accurate financial insight, with a particular focus on inventory control, variance analysis and month-end reporting. You will work closely with both finance and operational teams to ensure robust controls and effective financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory control, analysis and reporting
2. P&L variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
3. Month-end stock reconciliations and gross margin reporting
4. Preparation and delivery of key financial and transactional reports
5. Works order monitoring and performance analysis
6. Ensuring strong financial controls and accurate reporting
