This part-time role starts in September and involves working as an academic note taker in Derby. You will play a crucial role in assisting students with special needs by providing essential note-taking services, while also gaining the opportunity to learn something new every day. Your responsibilities include attending lectures and seminars and diligently taking accurate notes for students with special needs who face challenges in making notes themselves.

Responsibilities
Providing note-taking support to students with disabilities or mental health conditions. Your responsibilities will include:
* Producing accurate and legible handwritten notes for lectures, seminars, tutorials, and group tasks
* Reviewing notes at the end of lectures to ensure they are accessible and suitable for the student
* Maintaining a professional relationship with students at all times
* Acting in the best interests of learners while adhering to institutional policies and procedures
You will work closely with Randstad to meet the needs of individual students and ensure concerns are addressed promptly. Confidentiality and professionalism are essential in this role, and you will share relevant information with Randstad to provide the best support possible.
Requirements
* Neat handwriting and ability to produce legible, presentable notes
* Good typing skills
* Accurate spelling and grammar
* Punctuality and reliability
* Ability to work quickly under time constraints
* Good organizational skills
* Experience working with individuals with specific learning difficulties in higher or further education (preferred)
