Modality Partnership – Leighton Road Surgery is seeking a part‑time, dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will deliver comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, focusing on preventative care, diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities
The role is patient‑centred and delivered from your nominated practice site. The postholder will evidence excellent verbal and written communication skills, clinical expertise and the ability to empower patients to manage their health. Typical duties include patient care through regular appointments, home visits, general administration for patient care and collaboration with the local practice team. The GP will work in partnership with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of patient care in a supportive environment.

Person Specification
Experience
* All types of experience in primary care welcomed; personal development plan built with you based on level of experience.
* Current valid driving licence / access to a car.

Qualifications
* GMC registered
* CCST for primary care in the UK
* Eligible to work in the UK
* MRCGP (desirable)
* On the UK performers list for primary care.
Knowledge
* Eligible to practice independently as a GP in the UK
* Full GMC registration to practice as a GP
* Entry on the medical performers list
* Bachelor of Medicine or Bachelor of Surgery
* Interest/qualification in medical education / GP training
* Good understanding of the transforming landscape of primary care, new roles and the value of multidisciplinary teams
* General understanding of the GMS contract
* Good understanding of QOF
* Understanding of GP commissioning
* Good understanding of Patient Choice
Skills
* IT skills (MS Office, Internet, etc.) – able to competently use basic IT software.
* IT skills (Use of Clinical Systems) – experienced in using a primary care clinical software system, preferably SystmOne and other remote consultation technology.
* IT skills (systems and software) – able to independently problem‑solve to enable effective remote working and minimise disruption to the working day.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pre‑Employment
* Vaccinations: We will check the vaccination status of all new starters – full Hep B history/titre levels and/or booster evidence, MMR and Varicella status required.
