An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Engineer in the Airframe Wing Research and Technology team at Airbus Filton. The successful candidate will be working on Airbus’ flagship sustainable aircraft project; ZEROe, which is aiming to certify a hydrogen-powered aircraft for entry into service in the 2040’s.
Requirements:
Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore, it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement.
* Your application should include a CV along with a Cover Letter outlining your motivation and suitability for the role.
* Studying towards a degree in Mechanical, Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering;
* Strong interest in design engineering from initial concept through to detail design;
* Curiosity, creativity and open-mindedness;
* Ability to listen, understand and communicate information;
* Desire to openly collaborate in a diverse team environment;
* Strong commitment to develop yourself.
SECURITY CLEARANCE:
You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
