The Role
We are seeking an FM Manager to oversee the maintenance, operation, and safety of all dealership locations. This role requires a detail-oriented professional to ensure facilities provide an exceptional environment for customers and staff, maintaining brand standards and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities include:
1. Oversee daily operations and maintenance of all dealership properties
2. Develop preventative maintenance programs
3. Manage vendor relationships and service contracts
4. Control facilities-related expenditures
5. Coordinate renovations and upgrades
6. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
7. Supervise maintenance contractors
8. Respond to emergency situations
9. Maintain records of maintenance activities
10. Implement energy efficiency initiatives
Working Conditions
1. Regular hours with occasional evenings and weekends
2. Travel between locations (30-40%)
3. On-call for emergencies
Who you are
* Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* 5+ years in facilities management, preferably in automotive or retail environments
* Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security)
* Strong project management skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Proficiency with FM software and MS Office
* Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
* Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or similar certification
* Experience managing multiple locations
* Knowledge of automotive dealership operations
* Experience with energy management and sustainability
* Construction project management experience
