Key Requirements:
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Cost Management.
* A proven track record in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
* Strong time management and communication skills, computer literacy, and the ability to prepare reports and handle paperwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Commercial Director, your responsibilities may include:
* Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with architects and clients
* Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance projects
* Assisting in establishing client requirements and conducting feasibility studies
* Performing risk, value management, and cost control
* Advising on procurement strategies
* Identifying, analyzing, and responding to commercial risks
* Preparing and analyzing tender costings
* Allocating work to subcontractors
* Providing advice on contractual claims
* Analyzing outcomes and writing progress reports
* Valuing completed work and arranging payments
* Maintaining awareness of current building contracts
* Understanding health and safety regulations
Strong time management and communication skills, computer literacy, and report preparation abilities are essential.
