This role reports to the Commercial Lead within the Capital Programme, based in our Bury St Edmunds office. It is a permanent position offering a salary of £65,241, plus a car allowance and a 3% bonus. After a 6-month probation period, blended working arrangements (3 days in the office, 2 remote) are available.

Job Purpose:
Support the Commercial Services & Strategy Team by providing commercial expertise on contracts within EPN, ensuring contractors meet contractual obligations and payments are processed correctly, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage contractual and commercial processes, including payments, dispute resolution, and reporting
* Assist with contract administration, oversee payments, and support procurement activities
* Build relationships with contractors and internal teams to facilitate smooth operations
* Produce commercial reports and dashboards to monitor contract performance
* Support health, safety, and environmental responsibilities within the team
Qualifications & Skills:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Accountancy, or equivalent experience in utility sector commercial processes
* Membership or working towards membership in RICS, ICES, CIMA
* Knowledge of construction contracts, industry costs, and contractor performance
* Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
* Proficiency in Excel, SAP, and other relevant systems
