Leader Education are recruiting a Teaching Assistant who specialises in supporting children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), to work at a mainstream primary school based in Newcastle. The successful SEND TA will have prior experience working with children aged 3 to 11 years old who have additional needs and physical impairments, a strong knowledge base on how to support children within the classroom and will be able to work with children on a 1:1 basis. An asap start is available for applicants who have a current DBS on the Update Service The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30am until 1:00pm and is a long-term position.
