About the Role
Join the opening kitchen team of a beautifully restored 16th-century coaching inn, relaunched in July 2025 as a modern British dining destination. With a richly preserved heritage space and craftsmanship-focused design, this new concept champions contemporary British cuisine rooted in seasonal and provenance-led cooking
As Junior Sous Chef, you’ll:
* Support the Head Chef in both daily under‑pressure service and prep
* Lead your section with confidence and precision during service
* Help shape seasonal menus and daily specials with flair
* Ensure the kitchen upholds its high standards of hygiene and presentation
* Mentor and support junior team members as the brigade grows

* Has solid experience at CDP or strong Jnr Sous level
* Is calm, organised, and thrives under pressure
* Is passionate about local ingredients and seasonal cooking
* Wants the opportunity to contribute to a new, ambitious concept
