West Dunbartonshire HSCP is seeking to appoint an exciting and challenging role of Improvement Officer within its Strategy and Transformation Team.
The successful candidate will join a team responsible for a diverse range of activities, sharing a passion for supporting the HSCP with improvements across all its functions.
The Improvement Officer will oversee quality assurance and improvement planning in governance and compliance, analyzing themes to support the HSCP's ability to enhance quality control and meet regulatory requirements.
This role involves effective collaboration with stakeholders across West Dunbartonshire HSCP, SSSC, Care Inspectorate, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, and other local authorities/health boards, all focused on improving health and social care delivery.
Excellent partnership working, communication skills (both written and verbal), and the ability to make information accessible to diverse audiences are essential, working with service users, senior leaders, managers, practitioners, and stakeholders.
Applicants should hold a relevant degree and have experience working in a Local Authority or health setting, utilizing quality assurance and improvement methods to provide expert advice. Project management skills are crucial to support problem identification, solution implementation, and monitoring of improvements.
