Description
The Quality and Information Systems Coordinator at the Australian Refugee Association plays a vital role in ensuring the effective management and enhancement of quality assurance and information systems within the organisation.
This includes ongoing continuous improvement to meet the requirements of the Australian Service Excellence Standards, National Standards for Disability Services, the Right Fit for Risk framework, and other relevant standards or frameworks.
Key responsibilities include:
* Quality System Management: Coordinate ARA's quality accreditation requirements (eg ASES, NSDS, SSQF) to ensure continuous improvement and readiness for external review.
* Information Security: Maintain and continuously improve ARA's Information Security Management System (ISMS) aligned to ISO27001 and the Australian Government's Right Fit for Risk (RFFR) framework.
* Information Management: Provide secure access to ARA ICT resources and information systems, including procuring and provisioning of ICT resources.
This role is essential for fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the Australian Refugee Association, ensuring that all services delivered meet high-quality standards while effectively utilising information systems to support organisational goals.
Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications:
* A qualification in Quality Management, Information Management, Business Administration, or similar is desirable.
Required skills
* Commitment to continuous improvement and high‑quality service delivery.
* Demonstrated organisational and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
* Ability to manage registers, reporting, and develop/document workflows accurately.
* Ability to coordinate internal audits and support compliance and improvement activities.
* SharePoint site design, configuration, administration, and automations.
* Strong communication and training capability to support staff across sites.
Required experiences
* Demonstrated experience in quality systems, document control, or information systems administration.
* Experience with SharePoint or similar information management tools.
* Prior experience adopting Information Security Management Systems (ISO 27001), Australian Service Excellence Standards (ASES), National Standards for Disability Services (NSDS), or similar sector‑specific compliance frameworks.
* Experience working in Community Services or the NFP sector is an advantage.
