Residential support worker

* Rate: Min- £12/hour
* Shift Type: Day shift
* Shift Duration: 12 hours
* Employment Type: Full-time

Are you passionate about support the Residential students? GSL Educationis currently seeking to appoint a qualified and enthusiastic Residential support worker to undertake a position at one of our client schools in Rotherham.
Job Summary: A Residential Support Worker plays a crucial role in supporting individuals who live in residential care settings. These individuals may include those with disabilities, mental health issues, or those recovering from substance abuse.
Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality care and support to our students.
* Assist with daily activities and routines.
* Foster a safe and nurturing environment
* Work collaboratively with other staff members.
Requirements:
* Passion for working with young people.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work flexible hours.
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
* An updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
