Band 6: £38,682 - £46,580 per annum pro rata

Hours: zero hours per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working

* Acute Stroke Unit
* Inpatient Trauma & Orthopaedics
* Outpatient Hand therapy unit – providing rehab post‑surgery and trauma
* Inpatient complex medicine
* Respiratory and surgical wards
* Acute Assessment & Frailty Team
We are looking for dynamic individuals who want to join our services and work alongside the substantive workforce in providing rehabilitation and care of a wide variety of patients across different services.
We support flexible working so will consider applicants who have specific shift requirements to suit their work life balance.

The successful applicants will be highly motivated, flexible and an innovative therapist. Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills are essential, and you should be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
Key responsibilities
* To be professional and legally accountable for all aspects of your own work including the management of patients in your care.
* To undertake comprehensive assessments for patients, including those with a complex presentation, using advanced investigative and analytical skills and to formulate individualised management and treatment plans, using clinical reasoning and utilising a wide range of treatment skills and options to formulate a specialised programme of care and signpost to other specialist or services revaluating as appropriate.
