Overview

IT Support Engineer – Law Firm

Location: Bromley – 3 days a week (with occasional travel to other local offices). A well-established law firm is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join its close-knit IT team. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of the firm’s IT infrastructure, providing end-user support, maintaining systems, and working on a wide variety of projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2+ years of IT support experience who wants to learn, develop, and grow their skills in a professional environment.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative, friendly, and passionate IT department where culture and team fit are highly valued. The firm is committed to upskilling its team members and will support further training and certifications to help the right person develop their career.

Essential Experience & Skills

* 2+ years of IT support experience (law firm, finance, accountancy, or education industry).
* Strong knowledge of Windows environments and Office 365.
* Previous exposure to Citrix (essential).
* Familiarity with cloud printing, Uniflow, and logging tickets with third-party providers.
* Professional communication skills with an understanding of workplace etiquette.
* Strong troubleshooting skills, proactive mindset, and willingness to learn.
* Basic Python knowledge or interest in automation projects.
* IT certifications (MCP, CompTIA, etc.) or willingness to work towards them.

Working Pattern

* Minimum of three days per week in the office, with flexibility to work from home on other days.

Interview Process

* First Stage Interview – Microsoft Teams call with the Head of IT and IT Support Team Leader.
* Final Stage Interview – On-site technical test and face-to-face meeting with the team.
