Job Summary
Community Careline nwl ltd are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care and support to individuals in a home care or care home setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of those you support.
Vacancies available in the Coalville, Ibstock and Ashby de la zouch areas. full or part time evenings available during the week with alternate weekends mornings and evenings available.
Responsibilities
* Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
* Support clients in maintaining their independence by encouraging participation in activities and social interactions.
* Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
* Follow individual care plans as directed, making necessary adjustments based on client needs.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
* Drive clients to appointments or social outings as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
* Utilise IT systems to document care provided and update client information as needed.
Experience
* Previous experience in home care or a care home environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
* Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with clients and team members.
* A valid driving licence is advantageous.
* A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies related to client care is highly valued.
* Work phone and uniforms provided.
