Your Role as an SEN Teaching Assistant
You will:
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support guided by teachers and therapists
* Assist with communication strategies and behaviour support plans
* Take part in outdoor learning, forest school sessions and hands‑on activities
* Build trusting, nurturing relationships that help pupils feel safe and understood
* Play a key part in helping children regulate, learn and grow each day
What You’ll Need
* A calm, caring and patient approach
* Genuine passion for working with children with Autism and SEMH needs
* SEN experience helpful (training provided for the right candidate)
* Your own transport due to rural access
* Willingness to be active, creative and outdoors in all seasons
