The Community Services Manager is a senior, clinical leadership role, working as an integral part of the community service group.
The Community Services Manager will operate independently, complying with professional codes of conduct, organisational policies and procedures and the PTHB Values and Behaviours Framework.
The operational and professional delivery and performance of Community Services with their respective cluster, ensuring that services are developed, responsive to need, and provided with dignity, respect and in a co-productive approach.
Ensuring services within the cluster are appropriately staffed to deliver safe and responsive care, in accordance with legislation and college guidance.
Exercising judgemental and autonomous decision making in line with the seniority of the post and the Health Board's policies, scheme of delegation and standing financial instructions.
Working collaboratively, at all times, with other leaders, managers and stakeholders in order to consistently achieve high quality services and performance standards.
Providing visible and effective clinical leadership and operational management for the services, with responsibility and accountability for effective service delivery and site management.
Providing and developing a positive working environment and open culture which fosters high morale and commitment amongst all staff and promotes their wellbeing, professional and personal development and is in line with the Health Board expected values and behaviours.
Participate in PTHB operational On Call rota.

Ensure that appropriate high quality community services which meet the Health Board's statutory duties are available to the whole of the local population on an equitable basis, maximizing the use of service, workforce and audit information to inform decision making.
