This is a generic role suitable for teaching across various educational stages, without a specific primary or secondary phase designation. Role overview As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical education that encourages students to develop their fitness, teamwork, and sporting skills. You will plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities, promoting a lifelong commitment to health and physical activity. Role Responsibilities: Plan and deliver inspiring PE lessons that meet curriculum requirements. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation and effort. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Promote health, wellbeing, and teamwork through physical education. Support extra-curricular sports and physical activity programmes. Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the PE curriculum and school ethos. Uphold safeguarding standards and contribute to a safe school environment. Job Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification. A relevant degree or qualification in Physical Education, Sport Science, or a related field. Experience teaching PE across a range of ages and abilities is preferred. Ability to plan differentiated lessons that engage and challenge students. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills. Understanding of health and safety standards within physical education. Commitment to promoting physical activity and student wellbeing.
