Overview
We are seeking Exam Invigilators to help oversee the 2025 - 2026 public exams and mock exams. Invigilators need to be reliable and punctual, highly flexible, able to relate to pupils, as well as comfortable in a high-pressure environment. This role requires availability for a minimum of 3 days per week during exam and mock exam periods.
Responsibilities
* Supervise examination rooms to ensure the integrity of the exam process.
* Assist with candidates’ needs while maintaining a calm and controlled environment.
* Adhere to safeguarding responsibilities, including child protection, discipline, health and safety.
* Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people for whom you are responsible and with whom you come into contact.
Safeguarding and Eligibility
* The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
* Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
