Duties/main responsibilties include:
Tasks will include:
– Programme and set up CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications
– Set up and run manual lathes and vertical milling machines
– Select appropriate tools and fixtures for each job
– Monitor machine operation and adjust as necessary to ensure quality and accuracy
– Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
– Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process
– Maintain a clean and organised work area
– Observe Health and Safety practices
