Company Overview
My client is a specialist manufacturer within the Machinery and Instrumentation sector.
Attributes
* BSc / BEng in Mechanical Engineering or similar
* 4 or more years of industry experience working in a similar Mechanical Design role
* Experience with machinery, components, equipment
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes and instrumentation
* Excellent proficiency with CAD software – AutoCAD is desirable
* Good mathematical and general engineering knowledge
* Ability to understand system requirements
* Self‑motivated with excellent attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Able to travel nationally and internationally on occasion
Responsibilities
* Using CAD for concept design and producing technical drawings
* Leading client projects to convert ideas into designs
* Working on new product concepts
* Involved in the product design and development process using CAD
* Leading manufacture, construction, installation and maintenance documentation
* Working with high precision instrumentation products
* Performing detailed calculations
* Conducting design reviews
