Job Title: Regional Partnerships Director
We are currently recruiting for 2 Regional Partnerships Directors to join our team. The Regional Partnership Director will be responsible for implementing a regional place-based strategy for Digital Catapult that aligns with our organisational strategy. The roles will be based in one of our regional locations, either Gateshead or Bristol, but will also involve developing partnerships in other regions and clusters.
What You’ll Do (Duties)
1. Strategic Leadership: Implement a regional strategy for Digital Catapult that aligns with the organisation's overall ambitions and goals.
2. Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including public sector entities, industry leaders, innovative small companies, and academic institutions.
3. Innovation and Growth: Identify and develop opportunities for growth with local partners, including developing business cases, ideas, and proposals.
4. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with and build relationships across public, private, and academic sectors.
5. Essential Skills and Experience: A background in strategic communications, partnership and consortium building is essential. Knowledge of regional innovation and economic policy is desirable. Strong strategic thinking, planning skills, and excellent stakeholder management, collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills are required. Experience working with public funders is also desirable.
