We’re partnering with a leading client in the defence sector to find a Senior Assistant Commercial Manager to join their dynamic commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a mid-level commercial professional to gain hands‑on experience supporting a diverse portfolio of complex projects.
Active SC Clearance is required for this role due to project sensitivity.
What you’ll do:
* Provide commercial and contract support across multiple projects and teams
* Support contract drafting, change control, risk management, and dispute resolution
* Assist in pricing strategy, intellectual property management, and negotiations
* Contribute to business‑winning strategies and post-contract management
* Manage aspects of your own project portfolio under guidance
What we’re looking for:
* University degree or equivalent relevant experience
* Accredited to, or willing to work toward, IACCM (WCC) member status or MCIPS qualification
* Experience supporting negotiations and influencing pricing strategies
* Demonstrable commercial acumen on medium- to high-complexity contracts
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
