They specialise in supportingChildren and Young People who have suffered early life traumaneglect or abuse and may display challengingbehaviours.
The role oftheManager:
* Tomanage a residential home and ensure the efficient operation of theservice in accordance with the relevant legislation procedurespolicies and the Statement of Purpose for thehome
* Tosupport adults working with our young people to achieve the higheststandards ofcare.
* To beinvolved in recruitment of the team including vetting interviewingand inducting newemployees.
* Tocontribute to a comprehensive team training and developmentprogramme to enable the service to have available all necessaryskills and levels of expertise to meet the needs of the youngpeople.
* Supportthe team to ensure longevity and good organisationretention.
* Liaisewith the various internal and external multidisciplinary teams andcommissioning authorities to ensure that the care needs of new andexisting children and young people aremet.
* To beaccountable and take responsibility for liaising with regulatoryorganisations in relation to the way the home ismanaged.
* Registerwith the regulator and uphold requirements and conditions of thisregistration. To be part of an oncallsystem.
* Anyother such duties that may be required from time to time by theoperational managers or their authorisedrepresentatives.
Therequirements of theManager:
* Alevel 5 diploma in leadership for health and social care andchildren and young people s services; or equivalent; or apreparedness to work towards thesame.
* Experienceat senior level in a Residential Childrenshome
* Fullmanual drivinglicence
* Toparticipate in further continuing professional development supportthe needs of our youngpeople
