EYFS Teacher (Part-time, Temporary)

£360 – £410 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)
May 2026 – July 2026
The School and Role
This Primary School in Chester-le-Street (DH3) is currently seeking to appoint a EYFS Teacher to work on a part-time basis from May 2026 until the end of the academic year. The successful EYFS Teacher will be covering a planned absence in the Nursery class at school, where some pupils have complex SEND. There is also a skilled team of support staff in the EYFS unit, who will need to be effectively directed. The role is for 3 days per week. This is a ‘Good’ school, where staff are committed to giving all children the best start to their education.
Requirements
The desired EYFS Teacher will have;
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
