Baywater Healthcare provides critical Home Oxygen and long-term condition services to patients in the community on behalf of the NHS. Every one of our depots includes a dedicated workshop where our Workshop Technicians ensure that returned medical equipment is cleaned, verified, and safe to return to use. We're now looking for hands-on, safety-conscious individuals to join our team
About the Role:
You’ll be depot-based and play a key part in supporting our regional team of healthcare technicians. You’ll carry out essential inspections, cleaning, verification, and where required, repairs of returned oxygen therapy and medical equipment. You’ll also support with stock management across regional sites and assist with deliveries of equipment and consumables to outlying areas.
What You Will Be Doing:
Depot-Based Duties:
- Inspect, verify, clean, and, where appropriate, repair a variety of healthcare equipment (e.g. oxygen concentrators, liquid oxygen devices).
- Record serial numbers of returned equipment and prepare items for reissue.
- Carry out PAT and soak testing using approved processes and test systems.
- Ensure accurate completion of documentation, inspection logs, and work records.
- Meet daily productivity targets while ensuring high quality and safety standards.
- Support goods-in processes and help maintain site cleanliness and safety.
Regional Support Duties:
- Maintain Kanban stock levels across regional remote sites, and report shortages to RTM.
- Deliver equipment and consumables to technicians operating from outlying areas.
- Support upkeep of remote sites, ensuring proper storage, cleanliness, and compliance with expiry monitoring.

- Take part in company training, including Forklift Truck (FLT) certification if required.
About You:
We do not require you to have any previous experience in healthcare. If you’re excited about working for us and have most of the skills we’re looking for, then please apply. Ideally, you’d be a compassionate, community-centred individual who is able to:
- Full UK Driving Licence (Category B) with no more than 6 points
- Previous experience in a hands-on or delivery/warehouse role
- Good communication and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Comfortable using or learning diagnostic/testing equipment
- Basic computer literacy for stock and record keeping
- Forklift Truck (FLT) licence or previous experience (training provided if needed
