Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Therapy Assistant to join our Orthopaedic Inpatient & Outreach Team at Royal Bolton Hospital.
As a Trust we provide integrated Orthopaedic Services to the population of Bolton and surrounding areas with a Bolton GP. We deliver our care over three orthopaedic wards, consisting of elective and trauma, and provide a community service for orthopaedic patients in Bolton.
Responsibilities
* The post holder will assist the qualified therapists in the team by delivering a range of clinical and non-clinical duties to provide routine therapy and ensure the delivery of a high quality service.
* They will prepare therapeutic materials as required and undertake administrative tasks related to the workload.
* They must have the appropriate skills to communicate with patients, carers and the wider MDT.
* This job is predominantly community based midweek, and also involves working on the wards across trauma and elective wards and as part of the weekend rota service.
* The successful candidate will be integral to the continued delivery of a high quality and patient focused service whilst demonstrating our trust values of: VISION, OPENNESS, INTEGRITY, COMPASSION, EXCELLENCE.
