Trainee Support Desk Engineer We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to train as a support desk engineer. The role is office based. This is a varied and hands-on position, working for a very well-established company that supplies and supports digital imaging in a specialist sector. You will get experience of the latest imaging technology including CADCAM and 3D printing. Hours 95pm with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break. Hourly rate: £12.71 Duties and Responsibilities To provide 1st line technical support, answering support queries via remote support, phone, email and live chat To log all support calls on the company CRM and Support Desk software To update support tickets To allocate more complex calls to the relevant support member To help arrange for external technical support where problems cannot be resolved in-house by liaising with relevant admin staff To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles Respond to enquiries from clients and help them resolve any hardware or software problems Skills / Attributes Required Be easily approachable and have a friendly personality to easily engage with clients Enjoy working in a hands-on role and have a can-do attitude Work well as part of a small team as well as working individually Knowledge of Microsoft-based operating systems Basic understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration The Company We are a well-established organisation that has been supplying digital imaging solutions across the UK for over 25 years.
