Job Description

Financial Services Administrator

* Location: Ipswich
* Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, office based. No hybrid.
* Salary: from £24,000 depending upon experience

We are inviting applications for a Financial Services Administrator at a well-respected and established firm known for its expert financial service advice. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to advance their career in financial services, with support for professional development and certification.

Role Responsibilities:
* Prepare and submit new business files, including data entry of client details and recommendations into the back-office system.
* Manage post-sale communications by obtaining updates from providers and overseeing the client review process.
* Schedule and organise client reviews, manage portfolio reports, and implement review outcomes.
* Coordinate the diaries of Financial Advisers, manage email correspondence, and schedule appointments.
* Handle client inquiries via phone and email, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
* Produce and finalise suitability reports, maintaining adherence to compliance standards.
* Keep the back-office system updated with accurate data and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
* Demonstrate effective use of all required software systems and maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Previous experience in an IFA Practice as a Financial Services Administrator is preferred but is not essential.
* Financial Services qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
* Strong communication skills, professional demeanour, and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
* Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Independent workload management capabilities.
* Must possess personal transportation.
