Technical Services Manager – Food Manufacturing

We're recruiting for a Technical Services Manager to support and continuously improve the site Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, customer, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and continuously improve the QMS in line with BRCGS, HACCP, and legislation
Lead internal audit programmes and manage audit actions and close-outs
Manage document control, procedures, and audit readiness
Manage corrective actions, deviations, non-conforming product, and CAPA
Manage customer complaints including investigation, trending, and reporting
Lead supplier approval, supplier performance monitoring, and supplier audits
Manage food safety risk assessments, food fraud, and vulnerability assessments
Carry out horizon scanning for regulatory and customer updates
Support customer technical queries, retailer portals, specifications, and submissions
Host and support customer audits, third-party audits, and inspections
What We're Looking For
Strong Technical / QA background within food manufacturing
Experience supporting BRCGS audits and managing QMS systems
Confident dealing with customers and external bodies
Strong investigation and risk-based decision making skills
