Job Title: Sales Manager – Flexible Packaging
Salary: Basic Salary: Negotiable; around £55k pa with OTE
Location: UK Wide - Home Office and Field based
Our award-winning client is a recognised leader within the Flexible Packaging field having their own extrusion, converting and flexo printing facilities.
Their high level of technical expertise allows them to focus packaging development to extend the lifecycle of products, helping reduce product and resource wastage. Together with their customers they are continually working on new, attractive sustainability focused packaging solutions.
They are looking to appoint an experienced Sales Professional with a proven track record of business development within Flexible Packaging Films.
With many decades’ experience servicing several sectors of Printed & Plain Packaging including Food Packaging, Labelling and Shrink Sleeve, they are looking for a Salesperson with a knowledge of these markets to manage current business and new business development.
The ideal candidate will be able to describe their experience in selling Printed Plastic Films within either the Food Packaging, Labelling or Shrink Sleeve sectors
Objectives
* Sourcing and winning new business selling a variety of plain / printed packaging films
* Building new and long term relationships by delivering a highly personal & first class service.
* Setting new sales strategies on a national level and delivering on them
* Servicing and maintaining current business – most business is with long term customers.
* High level of knowledge of Flexo Printing onto a wide range of packaging film substrates.
* Drive and determination to find and generate new business
* Excellent organisational skills including follow-up and accountability
Responsibilities
* Working from home, periodically in office and with UK travel – you will be responsible for your own diary.
* Achieve agreed sales and new business targets for the territory.
* Consistently maintaining excellent customer service.
* Efficient planner with excellent time management skills – working wellboth as an individual and as a member of an established team.
