We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in roofing and cladding contracts/project management/site management.
About You
You should have knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations, experience in a customer-facing role, with an ability to build client relationships.
Apart from these requirements, you must also have knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety and Environmental safety requirements, computer literacy with good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, and relevant certifications such as SMSTS, CSCS, Asbestos Awareness, IPAF, and a full clean driving license.
You should possess NVQ level 6 or equivalent in construction or a related discipline – preferable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-construction:
* Pre-plan projects to ensure adequate resourcing
* Liaise with clients
* Appoint designers, review and approve drawings
* Produce RFI schedules
* Agree prices with subcontract labor
* Produce construction methodologies and tender programs
* Review profit plans with the QS
* Complete material and plant requisitions for purchasing
* Ensure timely material orders
* Complete RAMS and submit to the client
Construction:
* Coordinate and manage site labor
* Maintain quality control
* Liaise with clients
* Ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental excellence
* Produce and track construction programs
* Submit required information schedules
* Coordinate and manage subcontractors
* Work closely with the HBMS QS to manage costs and change control
* Review labor, plant, and material forecasts with the QS
* Closing out snagging and defects in a timely manner
